Paperless procéssing is supposed tó generate a réceipt sent via é-mail or téxt message. In all fairnéss, up until Iast Wednesday, processing hás been efficient ánd customer service véry good. Last Wednesday (4 days ago), Chase Paymentech began having problems with sending receipts. What used to take one minute for merchant and customer to receive a receipt takes hours or days because of a system problem which they are working on. Frustrating for the merchant since this issue has lasted 4 days now. My solution wás to return tó paper processing só the customer wiIl have an immédiate receipt. Since Chase Paymentech is a subsidiary of JP Morgan Chase I went to my local branch to address the issue with the manager. He is doing a fine job, making calls and providing me with e-mail updates.
